Bienvenidos a mi blog, esto es trendy boys manifesto. Quiero contarles que ha sido un proyecto desde hace tiempo atrás y esta es la primera de muchos posts. Esta primera sección ha sido tomada e inspirada por diferentes lugares en Suda América, y detrás de algunos outfits hay un diseñador descubierto, gracias a los fotógrafos detrás de este shooting. La primera toma fue en Buenos Aires, Argentina, a cargo de mi amiga Susana Zic, que es asombrosamente brillante con su cámara (pronto verán mas de ella en otros posts) sirvieron muchísimo para saber manejar los espacios y los contrastes dentro de la foto, te quiero mucho Su, muchas gracias you are here too; y bueno después de vivir un rato en Buenos Aires decidí mudarme a Santiago de Chile donde descubrí este hermoso lugar: el Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral, el cual me cautivo instantáneamente para un shoot, sumándole los botones los cuales se integraron después en Chile, y encontrando a otra genial fotógrafa la cual admiro mucho, Mariela Ferrer, gran diseñadora y compañera de aventuras surgió esta idea de re-shooting y Mariela Kill it, totalmente su creatividad quedo implícita desde el making off hasta editing, nos gusto mucho a ambos esta simbiosis. El concepto fue transmitir esta idea de layers oxidados con la cual esta recubierto el GAM, hacia una relación con 12-na, marca Argentina creada por Mariano Breccia y Mechi Martinez la cual es toda una experiencia usar, ya que ellos son conocidos por diseñar con reciclaje como un medio de expresión. El chaleco es único en su clase, es una prenda de-construida así como el genero del edificio, esta hecho de nuevas telas (este es un proceso que se da al re-usar un pattern y transformarlo hacia otra prenda) y para esto 12-na es experto, y totalmente su esencia. Las botas son diseño de mis amigos de Palo-alto Argentina, dos chicos Diseñadores Industriales increíbles, tienen una vibra totalmente buena! y lo mejor es que te los hacen a tu medida bajo un proceso totalmente artesanal, muchas gracias (necesito un tercer par! jaja). Welcome to my blog, this is Trendy Boys Manifesto. I want to tell you guys this is a project I've been working since long time ago and this is the first one from many posts coming. This first section its been taken and inspired by different places in South America and behind some outfits there's a designer discovered. Thanks to all the photographers involved in this shooting. The first shoot was taken in Buenos Aires, Argentina by my friend Susana Zic, she is totally brilliant with her camera ( you are going to see more of her work in other posts) Her pictures were important because they helped a lot to understand how to manage space and constrasts inside. I love you Su, your work is here too, thanks. Well, after living in Buenos Aires for a while I decided to move to Santiago de Chile where I found this amazing place: The Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center, which instantly captivated me to shoot. Plus the buttoms, which where added after in Chile. As well, to my luck I found another genius photographer which I admire so much, Mariela Ferrer, great designer and partner in crime in many advetures there, came out the idea of re-shooting it and Mariela Kill it. All her creativity was implicit from the making off to the editing, we loved this simbiosis. The concept was to transmit this idea of rusted layers which the building is all covered into a relation with 12-na, an Argentinian Brand created by Mariano Breccia y Mechi Martinez which is a totally experience to wear. They are known for their recycle process as a way of expression. The Vest is one of a kind, is a deconstructed piece like the buliding style and its made of new fabrics ( this is a process given by using a pattern and transforming it into a new pice) and for this, 12-na is just the best, totally its essence. The boots are designed by my friends from Palo-Alto Argentina, two incredible industrial designers with really good vibes when talking to them. The best thing is that they design at your own fitting and by a handmade process. Thanks again (I need a third pair!! LOL). I hope you guys enjoy the pictures T.B.M.
