Jumpsuit: Arturo Tlaque, Primal boots: Palo-Alto, Black blazer with leather shoulders: Zara, Skull Ring: H&M.

Y como dice Anna Dello Russo en sus 10 rules of fashion para H&M: wearing night clothes in daytime is unexpected, It doesn't matter the size of your body, fashion flatter everything.

I'm baaaack! I'm exited to have something new to share with you. Honestly it's been such an adventure since my last post, mostly because I didn't expect such a work load due to my working on the final project for my dissertation at the university, which consumes close to all of my time and is a dear to me as this blog. It is so rewarding to see both of them grow and grow, they are my babies. Anyway, today it's about something special, today is all about mexican fashion making a showstop on my blog and one of my closet's hangers by the side of my most iconic and special pieces that make up my little collection of original designers. It is about non other than Arturo Tlaque.

I've always wanted to wear something by my friend Arturo, which further from being a flawless young designer, he is positioning himself with hard work and effort, as a talent in this independent fashion scene (which we should support a little more) in Mexico with an amazing offering; and thanks to our social networks and blogs little by little is getting a better exposure. As we know, spring has arrived, and for the grey, black and boots lovers like me, I know the predicament this imposes as we find ourselves wondering 'what an I going to wear?!' and i firmly believe that one should apply the 'stay true to yourself, but play a little bit' and this look says THAT exactly.

A few weeks ago I went with my friends to MORBO SALE (which is having a second edition coming shortly and you should go) conformed by an assortment of amazing brands by Mexican designers that gather around to bring affordable and most important original products. So there I was, walking through racks, trying out necklaces, and there it was the last one! It was love at first sight!. (As you know, if u see most magazines) A must have for this season: a black and white stripped piece. But who wants a must? Why not give it a go for something different? And there it was, this jumpsuit with zebra-like geometric print that just caught your eye... and just for a little bit too short, which made me think twice about actually getting it or not. At the end it just took a little of peer pressure to try it on and of course... you wouldn't buy a skirt without asking your friends right?... To be honest I don't know who liked it more, me or my friends, they were all delighted with it and so I took it.

Just like Anna Dello Russo says with her 10 rules of fashion for H&M: wearing night clothes in daytimes is unexpected, it doesn't matter the size of your body, fashion flatter everything. So I decided to be proud of my legs and take them out for a little bit of sun while putting together this outfit with a black blazer from Zara, and some studded ankle boots from Palo-Alto, taking my pictures at a nearby street from where I live (which I discovered had a lot of potential) thanks to my blogger friend Brunette Braid the master mind behind this shoot (thanks you for the tips genie and congratulations on your second placing at the Privalia Blog Awards for best original blog). I hope you guys enjoy the pictures.

I'm dying to show you more outfits from the past that need, let's say, a little photoshop re-touch and overall some things that I still keep in my closet. Being a blogger is so much fun, thank you all who take the time to read my posts (the next one will be shorter I promise) and give me feedback. Honestly a lot of people think it only takes 2 seconds to create a post, and maybe it does, but writing about what I want to tell you always happens while opening the fridge and seeing a bowl of soup, while working on my dissertation at night with my pj's on, or at a coffee house. Those are the moments I enjoy the most while creating all of this.
